Wound care professionals can manage wounds at end of life by utilizing evidence-based standards from best practice for individualized care delivery. The challenge: Choosing the most effective approach to wound care while meeting the goals for providing quality palliative symptom management to the patient approaching end of life. Standardized practice guidelines will be presented for management of pressure ulcers and other types of common wounds seen at end of life.
